Back in 2016, SmartStart, the business counter of Partena Professional, still operated mainly offline and was confronted with the challenges of digital transformation. As competitors gained online market share, Partena’s CRM-partner 4C called on our UX expertise to guide and transform SmartStart into a top-notch online service brand, operating quickly, safely and 24/7.

2 partena – review wireframes

01/ Strategy

SmartStart enables entrepreneurs and starters to organise and store their legal administration. Partena Professional understood that its offline office environment could not simply be duplicated online. Because there’s no such thing as a pile of A4 documents online, all of the offline procedures had to be redesigned to build a user-friendly online environment.

We organised weekly workshops with all of the departments involved in the offline procedures to get to know every procedure down to the smallest detail. We then mapped the customer journeys and transformed them into digital processes. After a few months, all possible user stories were mapped out, which resulted in an enormous pile of wireframes.

02/ Identity

Based on Partena Professional’s existing visual identity, we designed new and additional visual elements for SmartStart Online. We created an atomic design library that enabled the development team to build SmartStart Online from the first encounter to the final step in each and every user story.

03/ Essentials

Our team was responsible for the design and managed the necessary slicing. 4C took care of the final development, technical support and CRM Salesforce integration.
